I just traded in my old car for a new Nissan, and the service at McDonald Nissan was exceptional. They made the whole process so easy. Ali was my salesperson, and he is so kind and helpful and great to deal with. A fantastic dealership that really goes above and beyond!

Since posting the review below, I have been back to McDonald Nissan for another service appointment and the issue with the navigation system is resolved. There is a Technical Service Bulletin from Nissan Canada, Classification AN22-031, Reference NTB23-0044 on this issue if anyone is experiencing this issue with a Nissan product. I want to thank the Dealership for responding quickly to my concerns and resolving the issue. I know software issue can be difficult to diagnose and can be time consuming. Also, this service appointment went smoothly and professionally, just what I would expect and had received in the past, from this dealership. The service loner they provided was also appreciated, providing my wife and I the opportunity to take care of several other errands while in Lethbridge. **************************************** NOT impressed, NOT impressed at all. Here’s my story. The first time I tried using my navigation system after getting the oil changed at McDonald Nissan, I got a massage that the maps software was corrupted and that it would have to be downloaded from a USB file. On July the 2nd I called the service department and they told to bring the vehicle in so they could look at it. When I went to the dealership on the 3rd I was told the download would take 5 hours. Really!!! After some discussion, I was told they could download the file and if I was willing to make an appointment for a later date they could then update the software in 5 minutes. It should be noted that I live 90 kms from Lethbridge, 180 kms round trip, basically 2 hours of driving. I made the appointment for 8:00 AM on Tuesday July 8th, when I arrived at the dealership I was told it would be only a few minutes. One hour later I went to see what was taking so long and I was told it couldn’t be done because of technical difficulties with Nissan. My first question was why did you let me sit there for all that time, when were you going to tell me it couldn’t be done. Also, a file was suppose to download so there should be no technical difficulties, it was suppose to be an in house file. I was given a bunch of double talk, mumpo jumbo and a disingenuous apology. I was told I would have to bring the vehicle back for a third time. Really!!! Two round trips, 360 kms, 4 hours of driving they did not create the file and I am suppose to just come back again. Not good enough, I purchased the vehicle from this dealership and I get it serviced there. This is their idea of customer service.

From the moment I dropped my vehicle off to the end of driving it back home, my experience with McDonald Nissan was one of the best experiences I’ve had with any dealership auto places over the years! The staff were friendly, polite and explained my vehicles issues that needed repair with clarity, professionalism and made me feel relaxed and confident I made the right decision to bring my car to them for repair. Best service I’ve ever experienced for a car dealership!

Service is always fantastic- however my experience with James at parts is never a positive one! Multiple negative experiences. Edit: changed from 3 star to 5 star as they took the time to reach out and were very kind! It’s much appreciated!

Had issues with my Rogue going from Regina to Calgary. These guys looked and fixed the issue with my vehicles at 3pm on the Friday before a long weekend and gave it a quick check to make sure it was all safe to get back on the road with the family. Excellent service team.
