Canadian Pricing Announced for 2023 Nissan Z

The day so many automotive enthusiasts have been waiting on for so many years is finally upon us: the latest version of the long-running and much-loved Nissan Z sports car is here – and now we know how much this 400-horsepower, twin-turbo’d V6 sports coupe is going to cost.

At base -- manual transmission, cloth seats, vented front and rear disc brakes, more – the Nissan Z will start at $46,498 in Canada. That undercuts the Toyota Supra 2.0 by about $10,000, and that car only  gets a single-turbo four. Adding a nine-speed automatic transmission to the Z brings the cost of entry to $47,998.

"The Nissan Z is our company's heart and soul, bringing sports car design, performance and excitement to a broad range of buyers, starting with the introduction of the first generation more than 50 years ago," said Ken Hearn, Director of Marketing, Nissan Canada Inc. "With a starting MSRP of $46,498 CAD, this latest version is ready to create a whole new generation of Nissan Z fans when it comes to market this summer."

Upgrading to Performance spec brings the cost of entry up to $58,498 when equipped with a manual and $59,998 with an auto, and it adds heated leather seating, premium Bose audio with WiFi hotspot, aluminum sport pedals and larger breaks. Power remains the same across the board: 400 hp and 350 pound-feet of torque.

Finally, we come to the limited-run Proto Spec, which costs $64,258 with a manual and $65,748 with the auto. Upgrading to Proto Spec adds yellow brake calipers shrouded by bronze wheels, yellow interior accents, special suede seating inserts and special interior stitching. Each Pro Spec model also comes with a specialized plaque..

No matter the model you choose, you know that you will be privy to the evolution of a legend and at the end of the day, it’s hard to put a price on that.
